So I've been using a perfect little 3G phone for the last 17 yrs, and categorically refuse a smartphone. The new 4G pensioner's phone I've been forced to get is SO much worse functionality wise, and I'd be thrilled to revert back to my beloved old phone during the festival if possible (I can elsewhere).

Does anyone know if the GSM/3G network still is functional in Lärz?

3G is over and switched off everywhere in Germany. Not sure how well 2G will work at a huge festival, it probably won't.

My phone worked fine last year, though unsure on which network.
