Tips for rain gear? // RESOLVED

So I'd like NOT to miss out too much on the fun -- again -- IF it (god forbid) rains. Yes, I'm one of those rain-allergic people ... a bit like cats. All the more if camping, with nowhere to get warm and dry properly.

With that aim, I'd like to ask for suggestions for easily accessible rain gear in line with the below specs? I've googled and asked around quite a bit already, but feel none the wiser.

* Light
* Compact
* Breathable
* Waterproof
* Around €100 max

* Water column 5000 mm
* Polyester?
* Taped seams
* Preferably 2,5 layers

NO ponchos please -- tried that and they're just too bulky, unshapely and come undone at the "sleeves". Some kind of jacket/pants set, or coveralls?

Thanks in advance.

There is a whole segment of rain prrof work wear.

https://guenstige-arbeitskleidung.de/ar ... enkleidung

It offers a lot of cheap stuff but still is of a decent quality with some certificates (i ISO or DIN).

there you will find some good stuff for the rainy times ;)

Haha thank you very much! I was lucky a few days ago and found a 10K water column, fully taped set at a special price + 25 % off though, fitting all my needs. So am set (why I also updated the title with "resolved"). I did briefly consider fisherman's pants however. :lol:
