Her boss laughed, apparently he's been to fusion before, he doesn't think we'll find tickets, but we'll show him !

My Plan now is to keep trying but really lock in on Sunday, as far as I've been tracking that's when a lot of Tickets start being posted. Wish me luck!

Uhhh, this is exciting, almost like a match of some competitive sports or gladiator fight coming up. I might tune in!

Good evening y'all (or rather night )!

Today is a really late update. I had written everything out at work, but then my manager came and stood behind me for the rest of the day, so I couldn't open the forum anymore . We went to a work dinner after, I was gonna just post from there, but as I walked in the spot my phone signal went out completely . I finally made it home though <3.

Day 20 (Wednesday) was a work day like many of them have been. I was using it to look up festival related things and browse the forum. I looked at the weather, workshops and many more things. I was slowly easing into the prep phase before the festival. I had planned to call with my friend the next day so I needed to be prepared.

Day 21 was when my friend and I finally sat down to actually plan everything. I was so anxious before since, even if we found Tickets, we had no plan of how to even get to fusion, where we're going to sleep etc.
Finally discussing all of that helped ease my anxiety, even if just a little . It also got us so hyped for Fusion.
We decided that IF we find tickets, we will leave at midnight before fusion. It's a 6 hour drive for us (if we don't take any breaks) so we just decided we'd drive through the night . Hopefully that will make traffic bearable. We'll see!
Aside from that, not much happened though. I'm still looking for a ticket and doing what I can to connect with different people in hopes of finding one. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Good Morning everyone,

in the days leading up to Fusion I shall post more on here. That's what I've decided. This is game time now. I'll try to really keep you guys in the loop.

Yesterday was a day void of any progress. Work was keeping me so busy and as I was trying to post my manager was looming over my head. So I couldn't even type out my update... Oh well!
Funny enough, all my coworkers INCLUDING my manager keep asking "do you have a Ticket yet? You're cutting it awfully close!" Thanks guys... I'm aware ... My manager is sweet though, he says he's manifesting it for me. Even though he does not want me to pursue my search during work hours, he knows how important this is. So he's rooting for me !

I have the weekend off, work on Monday and then I'm off from Tuesday! So the grind for a ticket is really about to get serious .
I will keep you guys posted on how it's going!

Good Morning everyone,

I must admit, I'm feeling pretty defeated as of right now . I sent so many messages yesterday and did not receive even a single response.
This time I wanna spend at fusion is so important to me, yet I feel like everyone is managing to find Tickets except for me. Yesterday I texted people within the minute they offered the Ticket, yet people selling tickets get flooded with so many requests, I'm sure my messages get lost in that sea of requests every time.

I started thinking I'm not doing it right. I see so many people that simply copy and paste messages, yet I always write out something personal. I don't wanna loose my humanity. I don't wanna be greedy.

Yesterday I did something that I felt was really brave. Someone in the forum was saying they want to give the ticket to someone who needs it, so he wanted to hear the reason of why we wanna go to Fusion. I hadn't shared my story anywhere before, I don't wanna guilt trip someone into giving me a ticket. I don't want the search to be a pity party. But to this person, this complete stranger, I poured my heart out. The truth is, fusion is much more than a festival to me this year. I hadn't voiced that yet. But yesterday I did.

And honestly it felt great . It felt much more honest.

Of course I received no response. But it made me think... maybe I should be more open about my reasons for going? I'm still unsure so I don't know if I will, but I'm considering it!

This was somewhat of a depressing update, I'm so sorry guys! I don't just wanna communicate the ups, the downs are also a part of this search. They all get to exist in this space.

If this search were an advent calendar, then we would have just made it to christmas eve!

Yet this feels more stressful than christmas. And it's not even "Fusion Eve" yet !
Yesterday I wrote sooo many messages. I thought I was going insane, I couldn't put down the phone at all. I was so worried I'd miss an offer. All in all, I think I missed just 1. Which is impressive, but also a testament to how desperate I've become. You guys don't wanna know my screentime right now. It's ridiculous.

Yesterday a lot of people caught on to the fact, that there's a bunch of Bots raiding this forum. Honestly I wasn't surprised. Being on this forum as long as I have, I've seen them consistently eversince I started looking. They were better disguised in the beginning, now it's just blatanly obvious.
It's disheartening. But I hope my humanity will shine through !

As I felt myself going insane throughout the day, I ended up going to a local alternative Flea market. While I was still on my phone wayyy too much, It helped a little bit. I met some really kind hearted people and was able to recharge. Energy I will really need for these next 2 days!

Hey guys!

It’s surprising to see an update now, isn’t it?
It’s late, fusion is starting today and my search has been going so so badly… why would I even bother?

Well if this update is going to be different from all the others.

I started this journey with really just one goal in mind - finding a fusion ticket. But on the way I met so many different people with such vast different stories. It became much more than just getting a ticket. It became more about humanity, friendship, and community .

In the end, I had come to an understanding that not finding a ticket will be OK because I found so much more on this journey. The moment I came to that acceptance is when things clicked.

In the past two days I didn’t just get one ticket, no, I got two and I was even offered two more !! I was shocked. Two days before the festival was supposed to happen my search finally took a turn.

And it was a beautiful turn that it took.

The first ticket came from one of my friends. She had seen how desperately I was looking for a ticket, so she posted a story on Instagram to see if she can find a ticket for me. Well, that didn’t get any results. She ended up finding someone else’s Instagram story that was offering a ticket and she immediately texted and that person. Even though they didn’t know me they were kind enough to transfer their ticket over to me. It was an amazing feeling. But while I did feel great, I had a hole in my stomach - a sinking feeling…

Now I had a ticket, but I still wanted to take my friend and I did not know how I was gonna be able to make that work .

So after getting my ticket, I would not put the phone down for anything. Any ticket post that came in on the forum, Reddit, Facebook or telegram - I would respond to them all. Yet one of them was different .

Someone on Telegram was offering a ticket in exchange for a ride. I responded within the first 30 seconds and told him “hey if you need help we’d love to help we can help you on your way to fusion and if you want, you can even join our camp”. I did not receive a message back immediately, so I can’t even tell you why I was so sure about it, but something felt different. Something felt like this was actually going to work.

The person got back to me about 30 minutes later and let me know that they got a lot of requests and they’ll have to think about it. They were actually looking for a ride for their friend, so their friend had to look at the request first and then decide who they wanted to go with. It was between me and 9 other people .

I went to bed anxious, and I could barely sleep. But I trusted the universe and knew it wouldn’t fail me. The next morning I got the text. The friend had chosen me ! But she had changed her mind. She didn’t want to come to fusion anymore so she just wanted to give me her ticket . That made me sad though. It seemed like she really wanted to go, but the only reason she chose not to is because her friends wouldn’t be with her. I made sure to let her know that I respect her decision but if she wanted to, we really wouldn’t have any issue with her joining our camp and we would really love to take her. I wanted to make sure she knew that she wasn’t going to be alone, even if her friends weren’t coming anymore.

And that made all the difference.

She thought it over and decided that she wanted to join us. So now instead of going as a duo, we’ll be a trio!

This whole story feels so fulfilling because it really resembled all that I had learned on this journey. Fusion is about community, about connection and finding that connection with other people. Not only did we just make a new friend, but we were also able to help this girl make it to fusion in a way that she can feel comfortable. That means the world to me. I’m very excited. I guess this means I’ll be seeing you guys on the dance floor! This rocket really wasn’t gonna take off without me !

I want to thank everyone that read this blog as I was updating it. It was hard for me to stay consistent with it but looking back, it was quite a journey, and I’m happy that I was able to take it. I also want to thank Tony for initially proposing the idea of me keeping the blog going and being a consistent positive force on this journey . Anytime I started to doubt he had some words of encouragement to keep me going . Without him I truly wouldn’t be where I’m at.

I am so thankful for everyone I met on this journey. I really think it’s changed my perspective on a lot of things and it’s definitely made me believe that manifestation really is real!
We hold the power in our hearts so believe in yourself.
