Parking question

Hi friends! This year friend with the car is joining our group for the first time and we’re trying to understand how parking works with and without the new car tickets...

Did I understand correctly that with a car ticket you can’t choose the camping zone yourself? And if you don’t have a car ticket, how did parking outside the fence work in previous years? We’d really wanna park as close as possible to Zone E so is that even possible with or without car ticket or you basically don’t get to choose where the car stayed?

With a car ticket, lets say for area "E", you (theoretically) can choose your camping spot in this E-area. Theoretically, because when check in starts the staff does not open the entire area E for cars but only a part. As soon as the car number in this part is big enough the next part will be opened. And so on....

If you arrive with a car and you do not own a car ticket you will be led from check in to the parking zone where you park your car. And as far as I've seen it, theres the similar principle as above: open one part until nearly full, then open next part. To park as near as possible to E it MIGHT be the best to arrive not too early. In the last years the parking spots nearest to E were filling the latest...

But this year it's new with these A-B-C-D-E-F-car-tickets and also car check in seems to be not only from eastern side via landing strip but also from Lärz-side. So the situation MIGHT also be completely different from last years...
Before the rocket lifts off hopefully there will be another newsletter from KuKo adressing also this topic a bit more...

It’s an official map. Cars without a camping ticket will have to park on P1-P6

Enter from the east side (via B198) if you want to be on the safe side. In the last years all regular festival guests with cars had to enter from there. This year on the map there's also a car entrance from west side, but up to now it's unclear if it will be open for regular guests.

I think it´s clear that you can enter from both sides. The B area is only reachable from the west side and the c area only from the east side.
