Hello there,

I’m Tony from Copenhagen, Denmark, 39 years old, and have loved the techno scene since I was 27.

I’m the last one in our group that haven’t gotten a ticket yet. My friends have been a few times, and they tell me how wonderful it is. I'd be super happy to get a chance to go to Fusion and experience it for the first time

I have three kids, and I take care of our youngest full time, he’s turning 2 soon. Together with my wife I’ve made the (almost impossible) happen and made arrangements that he is taken care of by his (amazing) grandparents from 24-28 of June.

I was counting on a friend to get me the ticket, but she couldn’t anyway. So, now I’ve been looking forward to it, even though I tried not to because ‘you never know’, but I couldn’t help it

Day 2 of the Search for the Last Fusion Ticket

Status: Still searching…

Yesterday was a complete mess. I was constantly checking my phone, switching between the Fusion Forum, Telegram group, Discord channel, Reddit posts, and email. Frantically. I hate that state of mind. Usually, I don’t check my phone very often, especially when I’m with my son. But I couldn’t help it.

By the end of the day, though, I had started letting go a little bit and trust in the process. My friend, who was supposed to get me a ticket, wrote to me that she was so sorry that she couldn’t. I told her to not feel bad, and that I probably would’ve done the same for a friend; overpromise a bit because of sheer excitement. I told her that she should enjoy her vacation, and that I would carry it from here.

The day ended with a seemingly very promising conversation with someone from Reddit. Their profile looked kind of legit, but the person was very slow to respond when I started asking to do the transaction on Ticket:Bourse and gave her my Direct Code, and the conversation continued through the day. And in the evening, I was in my bed, wanting to get a conclusion, and the person seemed like they were a tech newbie, so I tried to help them understand that the Fusion process is safe and secure, but they kept stalling.

I said goodnight to the person, put my phone down, which was kind of hard, and I had trouble sleeping because I was so overstimulated, but I eventually fell asleep. Woke up the next morning very tired, and said good morning to the person, and no response. So eventually, I wanted to test if it was a scammer, so I wrote if we should do a direct transaction around the Ticket:Bourse platform, and then the person responded immediately, lol. And of course, the person was very interested in that, and then I just wrote: "Bro, scamming is not your best life. You are better than that. I know you are. Human ”.

In conclusion, I felt the addiction of looking for a ticket, and I don’t want that to continue, but, at the same time, if I want this mission to succeed, I have to stay active, focused, keep my head in the game.

Day 3 of the Search for the Last Fusion Ticket

Yesterday was much more balanced. I checked my phone 1/10th of the times that I did the day before, and I played. I had so much fun with my son. We were at a playground, as we are most days, and we always meet a lot of other kids, which I really enjoy.

When I manage to be totally present with him, we are in the same dimension, and that’s where I’d like to be, and also where he likes me to be – and where he is, naturally.

I found a very large stick and walked around with it playing an old wizard that was chanting. And I can’t even begin explaining what the other kids were doing – unbound creativity.

As we were playing, I was reminded of what it’s like to be a kid, and in some ways, it gave me an idea of what Fusion is all about: a playground for adults, for presence, creativity, fantasy, love, and feeling of oneness with people around you. Just like kids.

I also realized a new way of looking at my mission of getting a ticket to Fusion: there’s a ton of demand right now and very little supply, so there’s no need to overly fixate on getting a ticket right now or stress about it. But at the same time, keeping up the continuous work is key.

Also, I made a big mistake in my method of looking for tickets, and thereby discovered two very different approaches. So now I’m working on both.

And lastly, of course, the day ended with one scammer and someone else who I really didn’t think was a scammer and had my hopes up for many hours, lol. But then, eventually, it turned out to be a scammer as well, which was very, very disappointing. Even though I managed to mentally and emotionally distance myself a little bit more, dialogue with someone who seemingly wants to sell you a ticket is very arousing and addicting, and I guess there’s no way around it.

In conclusion, I’ll keep working on my two different methods, and I’ll try to stay present throughout the day, which is the only way to truly enjoy life.

Day 4 of the Search for the Last Fusion Ticket

New ability: Anti-Scammer Armor

Yesterday increased my level of anti-scammer protection. I post on different subreddits related to festivals and tickets, so I naturally get a few DMs, and so far, all of them have been scammers. They are really good at hiding their "scammyness," but I’ve shed some of my naïveté and straight up but politely ask them to prove that they’re not a scammer.

Some of them pretend that they’re not scammers, but as soon as I write the words "Direct Code," they go silent. What a nice thing to have a system around tickets.

Also, because I do a lot of online ticket searching, I wanted to do more offline. I talked to one of my new friends from Germany, whom I met on a playground here in Copenhagen, and he asked around for me. Unfortunately, nothing.

I later met with one of my acquaintances, who has been to Fusion many times. He told me that in the week leading up to the festival, he has had up to five tickets, and that he would get me one if he can. That was super nice. I’m still not resting on my laurels, though.

The entire day my middle child, a girl, five years old, and myself painted one of the rooms in our apartment, which was a very nice activity. My phone was on the table, and I wouldn’t check it very much.

‪In conclusion, I look back at my first day of ‬the Search for the Last Fusion Ticket‪ with sympathy, and I realise how needy and naïve I was. Reflecting is a way for me to see myself from the outside and grow as a person.

Sorry, I don't have a ticket, bur I felt compelled to say something. This is such an endearing way of going about it, I hope you find a ticket! Don't loose hope, especially when the festival is really close a lot of tickets become available.
