Weird… It would be a shame, It would be exactly that whats happening with clubs in residential areas. People go to live there, start complaining while the clubs are going for years already and then they need to lower volume and die…

I still remember my vibrating pillow from back in the days at turmbuhne (which also isnt happening anymore) but i’m also not going to complain as i’m coming to a festival for a reason😅. earplugs and sleepingpills help

This is because of calculated positioning of the subwoofers at turmbühne. They cancel bass outside the stage

up... I can't live with it if the reason is that they made a silent camp area around panne eichel. Silent camping you do at insel or close to the airstrip, or at the cote d'azur in France.

I am not sure what you all are missing. In recent years the music volume between 0-6h was ridiculously low and it was a shame to see DJs play during those night time slots. It was an utter farce.

I could imaginge that artists and the crew rejected running the stage under these circumstances because there was just no point in doing so.

I don't have any reliable info neither. But I was pretty shocked as well by the condition of the floor and decoration itself. Everything looked completely soulless and especially bleak during daytime. Which is a strange decision, to have a stage rely on lightning and then be closed during nighttime. The DJ booth was really the saddest piece of decoration I have seen in 10 years of Fusion. They didn't even care to cover screws and bolts or use a little bit of paint. It looked like they screwed together some beams, glued some lights to it and then said "Fuck it"
My guess is that this is a mix of different problems that came together. Bachstelzen seems to be the floor that is hit the hardest by noise restrictions, either because of the camping area (which has never been a problem before) or because of the surrounding villages. Maybe they wanted to scale it down if they have to reduce the noise during nighttime. Also Bachstelzen has their own crew and design team and there have been some differences in motivation and how to proceed with the stage in recent years. Also it could be that the weather conditions or other problems during the building phase occurred and slowed them down significantly. This fits the impression that everything seemed unfinished. Maybe Bachstelzen is also going through a transition and we will be wiser in a couple of years.
Please, someone enlighten us!
