JackyKennedy hat geschrieben: Mi 10. Jul 2024, 18:32 I just had one warm shower at the first day. The next days the water was ice cold and washing my hair in this cold water is almost impossible for me 🥶 I found the whole shower situation frustrating. I tried to shower at different times of the day/night at different places and there was always a queue. In my opinion there are not enough showers for a festival this size. I think I will
bring my camping shower next year like this I don’t have to waist my time in long shower queues.
Appreciate it. Agree re: the hair, it's painful. I can accept longer lines personally (as long as the water temp & pressure is ok), but know many hate them. Sounds like a plan though. :) Where did you shower, btw?
I showered at Oase (it was the closest to our camp) island and close to roots base. Didn’t tried the shower towers because they are cold as f* but at the end all of them were cold 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

Before 2024 I showered at night because the water was a bit warmer and there were no queues, I tried the same this year and really regretted it ❄️
Great with some data also from the Workshop area. Sorry you too had these poor experiences though. I'm writing KuKo w/ some feedback (pros & cons) and will include a summary of the shower situation. Hopefully fixed for next year!

The queues at Oase were worse than the last 2 years and it was sometimes warm but most of the time cold I heard, so I would say it’s worse than before.

But I think they will improve it for next year, hopefully

I recommend Waschlappen!

Ooh, you both were lucky to get warm showers? Congrats! :D

Thanks for the suggestions -- but how do these Waschlappen work? I mean, how do they help get around cold water ...? And which showers did you use, please?

A personal (camping) shower ofc would be cool, but again I don't see how they'd mitigate water temperature (or pressure).

camping showers get hot really quickly if you put them in the sun.

considering the weather and temperature, for me personally a luke warm camping shower was a nice enough experience. water pressure is not worse than in my berliner altbau :D

of course i did not wash my hair

I know what you mean, it was painful to wash my hair there. It was one of the coldest showers I ever took. I am glad I went in the evening when the sun was still shining a bit, it took a while to get warm after that shower.

The idea is not to take a shower, just use the Waschlappen at the sinks.
