Hi,
I'm a light sleeper and sensitive to heat and I was wondering if you have any ideas for specific products that would be good to take to the festival. I've seen a few gazebos and sun shelters but the ones with sides are also quite heavy (around 17 kg) and would be a bit difficult to travel with. Any ideas for a suitable one preferably 3x3 size?
Thanks!
It's a little too small to cover the tent completely (2 person one; tarp is 185 x 185) and offer additional shade/shelter, but does the job acceptably. (It's also a bitch to set up by yourself, btw. Always need help.)
light: Quechua fresh and black tents are extremely popular for a reason. They really make a difference when it comes to light and temperature. You can also get similar products from other companies.
sound: get earplugs. Every hardware store sells foam earplugs that are comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. These are designed to block out as much sound as possible and will distort music as a result. If there are different ones, get the ones with the highest dB nr for sleeping.
You can also get professional, personalized ones made at every place that sells hearing aids. You can get those made to block all frequencies equally across the board which preserves a lot of music quality. Or you can get them made to block as much as possible.
