I will go out on a limb here, and assume -- althought we shouldn't asssume, and age more often than not isn't correlated with maturity or experience -- that you're on the younger side, and haven't been taught the "it's rude to speak a language not everyone in a company can understand".

Meaning, it isn't "Hans' problem", but EVERYONE's problem, if he is unable to follow in a convo. At least if you're interested in everyone being equally included, and valued, in whatever setting. That statement of yours tells me you are not, and that I have a HUGE issue with, not least as it's against the "solidarity concept", and that no one should be left to fend for themselves, Kuko essentially is about.

The classic "it's your problem"/"sort yourself out" speaks of a callousness in regard to others I always will refuse, and argue against.

It really doesn't matter if it's a question of phones, language, or refuge. The PRINCIPLE is the same. Now, if an exclusion is desirable, or even reasonable, is a whole other matter.

Es ist sowas von dermaßen fucking an den Haaren herbeigezogener Blödsinn meine beschriebene Situation mit legitimer Diskriminierung zu vergleichen. Bleib mal bitte auf dem Boden.
Wir reden hier nicht von Herkunft, Hautfarbe, Gender/Geschlecht oder sonstigen Themen, wegen denen Leute diskrimineirt werden. Und ja, mir ist Diskriminierung wegen meiner Herkunft und Sprache, die ich sprach, widerfahren. Also quatsch mich bitte nicht mit Vorwürfen der Privilegien voll.
Wir reden hier über Smartphones. Und DEINE Entscheidung keins zu benutzen. Und dann beschwerst du dich darüber, dass es diskriminierend wäre QR Codes auszuhängen? Weil DU dich dazu entscheidest die Technik nicht zu nutzen?
Das ist genauso wie die Forderung, dass alle bitte nur deutsche Wörter zu benutzen haben, weil Hans ja null Englisch kann und Anglizismen furchtbar findet. Sorry Hans, so hart es auch klingt, dein Problem, der Zug die Sprache frei von Englisch zu halten ist längst fort. (Klar, ich achte schon etwas darauf, dass ich nicht unnötig viele Anglizismen im Gespräch mit Hans verwende, aber am Ende des Tages ist es immer noch das Problem von Hans) Genauso wie der Zug fort ist, problemfrei in der modernen Gesellschaft ohne Smartphone leben zu können.

Ich finde es komisch, dass Leute eine Extrawurscht haben wollen, indem irgendwelche QR-Codes aufgestellt werden. Auf einem Festival, auf dem in jedem Infomaterial steht, "bitte lasst eure Handys weg". Und wenn ich raten müsste, würden dir ein paar Tage ohne Smartphone mal ganz gut tun. Man kann sich nämlich tatsächlich problemfrei ohne Smartphone bewegen - speziell in Räumen, die dafür gemacht sind. Wie zum Beispiel die Fusion
Versteh nicht, warum dir das so wichtig ist, deinem Smartphone auf der Fusion auch noch eine Funktion zu geben anstatt es einfach mal guten Gewissens wegstecken zu können. Und "quatsch mich nicht an" ist auch immer eine komische Formulierung in einem Forum, in dem man ja freiwillig seine Meinung zur Diskussion stellt

Absolut nirgends habe ich ein Pro-Smartphone-Argument gemacht. Ich finde es auch super, wenn die Leute es einfach in der Tasche lassen.
Alles was ich gesagt habe ist: Es ist absoluter Blödsinn zu sagen, dass ich diskriminiert werde, weil ich einen QR Code nicht nutzen kann, weil ich es mir vermutlich selbst ausgesucht habe kein Smartphone zu haben.

Yes, there is a world outside the modern society. But we are not living in goddamn Ethopia, so whats your point? That we are being discriminatory assholes by not making an exception for the minority that cannot have smartphones or refuses to do so? Im all for not doing photos at Fusion, but your point of equating this to real discrimination is still a load of crap.
Because again, we are not speaking about skin color. We are speaking about a reasonable standard to expect, at least here in Europe. (And fucking yes, not all guests come from Europe, but if they can afford the ticket/travel, they probably have the money for a smartphone) Even people living on welfare who fled war and oppression have smartphones. Yes it sucks if they cant afford one. But they have bigger problems if they are in that situation, they probably arent at Fusion. Yes, they are at an disadvantage. But we cant make that extra sausage for everyone, for every problem, its just not practical, especially not when it comes to things where most people in our society have accepted it as normal.
That is the whole point Im trying to make and you read a whole bunch of bullshit into it.
