Camping equipment near festival

Ich reise für Fusion den ganzen Weg aus Australien an.

Ich bringe eine große Plane als gemeinschaftlichen Unterschlupf auf meinem Campingplatz mit, möchte aber nicht den ganzen Weg über große, schwere Stangen mitnehmen.

Gibt es irgendwo in der Nähe des Festivals ein paar Stöcke zu kaufen?

Oder ist es möglich, eine Plane zwischen einigen Bäumen aufzuspannen?

I think your best bet would be to buy equipment in Berlin and take it from there.

You won't have access to trees to hang your tarp.

how will travel to the Fusion site after arriving in Germany?
If you go there by train or by bus it would actually be better to equip yourself in Berlin.

If you go there by van or by car, there is a store for camping equipment in Neustrelitz called "Fritz Berger".
However, most of the Camping stuff is relatively expensive here in Germany.
Depending on how handy you are, you might also find something in a hardware store? Then there would be the "Obi Markt", also in Neustrelitz.

Neustrelitz is about 30 km from the festival site

If you're coming in via Berlin then you can buy some aluminium poles at Decathlon (cheap camping and sports store). Trees are rare on the camping site and I don't recommended pitching your tent nearby as some people confuse them with outdoor toilets.

Dont rely on the availability of enough trees. There are a few on the campground but they are surrounded by camps really quick.

Last year there was a camping gear shop in Mirow, called "BHG - Baustoff- und Landhandel" at Schloßstraße 15. I just checked, unfortunately Google Maps suggests it closed...
