I this threat I posted a letter which I've send to Kulturkosmos to raise awareness about the lack of bass on the Turmbühne and Tanzwuste in 2019 and 2022. Unfortunately I didn't got a reply back from Kulturkosmos but I did get a reply back from the founder of Funktion One, Tony Andrews ...

das ist hier meckern auf ganz schön hohem niveau. ist doch toll das die function one so lange funktioniert hat. irgendwann reichts auch und was neues muss her. es spielen ja auch nicht jahr für jahr immer die selben djs auf der turmbühne wie vor 10 jahren.
2019 gabs übrigens die lambda labs noch ...

I also want to add that the LL system would be capable of delivering the bass you are looking for IF the PA crew could crank it up. But they can't do it for various reasons. It would be interesting to hear a full on LL system in the wild without regulations.

Big thanks from my side too for raising awareness. Probably too late for parts of my hearing but better late than never. I have some concert ear plugs, which I never wear, because they make the sound muddy. Can you recommend specific ones?
